Alert message sent 10/10/2017 09:09:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Dear Residents,

Just to make you aware, there have been a spate of Burglaries and Theft of Motorcycles in the Kingsbrook and Cauldwell area over night.

This is a reminder to all residents to make sure homes are locked and secure. With the dark nights coming, make sure lights are left on when leaving the house. You can purchase light timers from any home stores, UV pens can also be purchased to mark up any electronics with house number and postcode. e.g. phone, laptop, iPad. Please don't leave keys or valuables near to doors or on show.

If you own a Motor cycle please make sure this is locked, consider using a disk lock and alarm. Park it in a well lit area or in a locked garage. If this is not possible, consider blocking it in with another vehicle if you have a drive way.

If you see anything or anyone acting suspicious, please report this on 101. In an emergency please use 999.

Kind Regards,
PCSO 6749 HUGHES
