Alert message sent 12/10/2017 09:18:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Dear Residents,

We have seen an increase in Burglaries and Theft from Motor Vehicles in Bedfordshire.

Just a polite reminder;
Make sure homes and vehicles are left locked and secure, doors and windows closed, lights left on timers when out. Please don't leave keys and handbags near doors and make sure valuables are out of sight.

Park vehicles in a well lit area, take all valuables out of vehicles, removing any mapping devices. Don't leave loose change in sight.
Please lock and alarm motorbikes and mopeds, also park in well lit areas. If possible park on driveway or in a locked garage if not, block in with vehicles.

This message has been sent out to remind you to consider actions you could take and to be vigilant not alarmed in the area.

Many Thanks,

Claire Hughes (Police, PCSO, North)
