Luton Diversity Day

Alert message sent 26/04/2018 14:07:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Following the tremendous success of last year’s Diversity Day event, Bedfordshire Police’s Community Cohesion Champions are organising the day for a second time.

The Champions, a group of volunteer cadets aged 13 to 15-years-old, support the Community Cohesion team in linking with communities by holding charity and engagement events.
They will be holding Diversity Day to celebrate the diverse cultures of Bedfordshire on Sunday 13 May at Chaul End Community Centre, between 12pm-4pm.
The event is about celebrating various cultures of our county through complimentary food from a variety of cuisines.

Football fans will also have the chance to take on coaches from Luton Town FC in a penalty shootout and local youth cricket club Wiketz will be holding a coaching session.

Dance group Rhythm Junkeys will also be performing.

For more information email
or call the team on 01582 394018.
