Robberies - Biggleswade

Good afternoon,

I would like to make you all aware of recent incidents within the area of Biggleswade.

Between 18-21st June there have been 2 robberies in the Biggleswade area. The first on 18/6/18 being at the train station, involving 3 unknown white males. One of the males has pulled the victim into alleyway and pulled out a knife. The victim was robbed of £20.00, a packet of cigarette and a lighter.  They then slashed the tyres on victim pedal cycle
 

 

The second was in South Walk, on 21/6/18 where IP HAS BEEN STOPPED BY THE OFFENDERS IN AN ALLEYWAY, OFFENDER 1 PINNED VICTIM AGAINST A FENCE ASKING FOR HIS MONEY AND PHONE, OFFENDER 1 HAS ALSO PULLED OUT A KNIFE, OFFENDER 2 HAS STOOD BY AND WATCHED, BEFORE THE VICTIM MANAGED TO RUN AWAY TO SAFETY. Nothing was taken.

We understand that this information may be alarming and i would like to reassure you that we at Bedfordshire Police are working hard to investigate these incidents.
