Alert message sent 10/04/2019 15:28:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Police investigating a burglary are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen from outside a property in Luton in the early hours of Monday morning (8 April).
Between 1am and 1.20am, two men broke into the property on Dunsby Road by forcing opening the front door. They stole car keys and drove off in a white Vauxhall Mokka belonging to the occupants.
PC Alexandra Harpin, investigating said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone in the area at the time acting suspiciously, or knows anything about the incident.
“Nobody has the right to enter someone else’s home uninvited. We recognise the impact burglaries have on victims and how distressing they can be, which is why we will do all we can to find those responsible.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Harpin on 101 or via our online reporting tool quoting reference 40/20084/19.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
