Man charged following Bedford burglaies

A man has been charged following recent burglaries in Bedford.

Matthew Sharpe, 26, of Roise Court, was charged with burglaries in Paradine Road and Aylesbury Road in Feburary and March of this year.

He was also charged with four burglaries from business premises between September and December 2018. These took place in Midland Road, Greyfriars, Iddesleigh Road and Melbourne Street.

Finally, he was also charged with two counts of theft from motor vehicles in relation to offences in Manley Way, Kempston and Ampthill Road, Bedford in September 2018.

Sharpe has been remanded into custody and next will appear at Luton Crown Court on 20 May.
