Theft from motor vehicles

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police


Dear residents,

We just wanted to make you aware of 2 theft from motor vehicles which took place between Friday 7th June- Sunday 9th June, one in Barnard Avenue Kempston and one in Bruce Road Kempston. No damage was caused to the vehicles and pound coins, jewellery and a jumper were taken. The offender has been captured on CCTV and is a male using a bike, of average build and has his face covered.

Please make sure you are locking your vehicles and removing all property from within including loose change.

We have attached an information sheet which will give you more information on how you can protect yourself from becoming a victim of this type of crime.
