Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Hello,

I hope that you are well. I haven't been on the patch as often as I would like to, however i have still managed to get there few times and have conversations with quite a few people.

I am aware of two burglaries which happened in Barton-Le-Clay, please remain vigilant and look after your neighbours property. Remember if it doesn't look right, phone it through! I would rather check 15 calls which turn up to be nothing than not to be told about the one where we can get our hands on the offenders.

On the other hand, there was increase in petty criminal damage in the area. Most of this is linked to local youngsters, so if you have any evidence of them causing issues (recorded on your CCTV or mobile) please let us know. I'll be more than happy to get hold of it in order to sort the issues out.

Also, please check what your youngster are up to (once a while at least). Its summer (despite the weather), and we all have been young at some point. I am sure that nobody will mind a group of young people anywhere as long as they will keep their noise down and don't leave any rubbish.

Lastly I am away for three weeks (on a well deserved holiday back in Poland)  however the patch will still be covered by my team colleagues, please continue reporting the incidents via 999 (if the life or property is at risk at the time), or via 101/webchat for anything else.
