General Reminder - Burglary Prevention Advice

Alert message sent 04/09/2019 12:09:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Dear Beds Alert Member,

Once again the summer holidays  have flown by and the seasonal changes are upon us, (the nights are getting darker quicker).  As a consequence of this annual change it is not unusual for us here at Bedfordshire Police to notice a spike in burglaries.

Unfortunately it would appear that your area is becoming a hotspot and in order to prevent this, I am enclosing some general guidance on how you can review your home and boundary security together with an information leaflet on "Keyless car theft".

Luton is very fortunate to have a very strong Neighbourhood Watch and they too are able to provide you with a wealth of information and guidance on the benefits of joining their membership.  To find out more please email them direct via this link

If you would like further crime prevention advice or have any queries concerning the information I have sent, then please do not hesitate to contact me directly using the Beds Alert service.
