HOTLINE - NFU launches anti-crime hub

Alert message sent 04/11/2019 09:35:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

The NFU has launched an online service for farmers and growers to get advice on how to prevent and report rural crime.
The 'Rural Crime Hub' is a one-stop shop for farmers to get information about the best prevention measures, how to report crime, including who to call, and exclusive business advice for NFU members.
The launch came during the recent National Police Chief Council's Rural Crime Week, where Police Forces focused on rural crime, and the NFU backed many police forces all across the Country.
Farmers and growers are urged to ensure they report rural crimes to the police, or to give information 100% anonymously to the dedicated Rural Crime Hotline run by the charity Crimestoppers, in partnership with the NFU. Anyone can call 0800 783 0137 to speak to a trained agent or online at www.ruralcrimehotline.co.uk.
