Theft From Vehicle Prevention Advice

Dear Resident

There have been a number of thefts from motor vehicle reported in your area.  We are issuing a gentle reminder of how to keep you vehicle safe.
  • Please take the time to check that doors are locked every time that you leave your vehicle.
  • If you use central locking check the door handle to ensure that the vehicle is secure.
  • Do not leave spare keys inside your vehicle.
  • Keep valuables out of view.
  • If you have a satellite navigation system, remove the cradle and wipe the mark from the window.
  • Consider leaving the glove box open so that it is clear that no valuables are inside.
