Male arrested for interfering with a motor vehicle in Kempston

Alert message sent 07/05/2020 13:55:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Dear Citizen,

On 4th May a male was arrested for interference with a motor vehicle in Kempston along with 5 other offences (including theft from motor vehicle). The male was charged and remanded in custody. The male was identified from CCTV images given to us by the public. You will be pleased to know that we have had no further reports of theft from motor vehicle in Kempston since the male was arrested. Please continue to be vigilant, however, as theft from motor vehicle still appears to be the current crime of choice for some of our criminals under the Covid-19 restrictions.

Kind regards,

Kempston Community Policing Team
