Dunstable property partially closed due to anti-social behaviour

Alert message sent 14/09/2020 10:49:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

The Central Community Team secured a three-month partial closure order on the property in Dunstable at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (8 September).

Bedfordshire Police secured a partial closure order on a property in Montgomery Grove, which means the property can be only accessed by approved individuals, after numerous reports of anti-social behaviour.

Sergeant Stuart Grant, from the community team, said: “We are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour in our neighbourhoods. We hope this partial closure order, issued by the court, will serve as a warning that we will take action against individuals causing disruption, and target the locations identified as a source of criminal and anti-social behaviour.

“If you are experiencing any issues or have any concerns about crime in your areas, please do report them to us, as they really do matter. Every report builds a better understanding of issues in the community and helps to inform the work we do.”

If you wish to report anti-social behaviour or crime in your area, you can do so through the force’s online reporting centre or by calling 101. In case of emergency always call 999.
