In the summer of 2020 community officers arrested 2 males in Bramingham Park on suspicion of Possessing Class A Drugs With The Intent To Supply. One of the males was also arrested for having a large knife hidden in his waist band to his trousers. We have already reported back to the community that the male with knife was remanded in custody and received a substantial prison sentence.

The trial for the second male was held in November 2021 and PC HORNE from the Bramingham Community Team provided evidence in court. After a 4 day trial, sentencing has now been passed and we are happy to report the male received 27 months in prison. This is a really good outcome and was the result of “old fashioned” foot patrol in the park.
