Luton Town v QPR

Alert message sent 12/03/2022 08:30:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Dear all

As you may be aware, Luton Town are playing Queens Park Rangers tomorrow (Sunday), with the game due to kick off at 12noon.

We will have a larger police presence than you would normally see for football matches out in the town on Sunday, including police horses.

This is nothing to be concerned about. We are here to keep everyone safe and ensure everyone attending the football and the wider community can enjoy themselves.

Our key focus is to ensure that events like the St Patrick’s Day parade can go ahead as planned alongside the football and any other events.

We fully hope and expect Sunday to be another vibrant day in Luton where thousands of people can enjoy themselves and we are committed to play our part in that.

Of course, if anyone wishes to discuss anything with us or raise any concerns, feel free to speak to an officer, call 101 or visit beds.police.uk/ro.report

Always call 999 in an emergency.
